Love Our Children’s Day – Day of PlaynnWhat is Love our Children’s Day?nnAs the month of April is also for National Child Abuse Prevention Month, National Love Our Children Day is part of the campaign to raise awareness about all forms of child abuse. It is also a day to celebrate children and stress the importance of raising them in a loving and healthy environment.nnThe Day of PlaynnIYS is hosting the 3rd annual Day of Play fundraiser as a way to encourage families and youth to get out and have fun! With activities, raffles, bingo, sports, a bounce house, and more.nnEntry is $5 for adults and $2 for youth. All participants get a free event T-Shirt to remember the day, and all proceeds from the event go back to supporting IYS at-risk youth program
